The following two songs (Da Capo stagecoach inn salado and FinE) belonged to an anthology dedicated to Third Stream music that introduces an interesting fusion of two bands, the Modern Jazz Quartet stagecoach inn salado and the Jimmy Giuffre Trio. The third group of songs (Blues In E-Flat, In A Mellotone, The Quiet Time, stagecoach inn salado and Body And Soul) correspond to the four extended version recorded during the celebrated concert at the Music Inn on August 28, 1956. The MJQ does not perform here, even though all of the tracks have a common denominator: the MJQ's drummer Connie Kay.
